Relaxation Massage
Our Relaxation Massage, also known as Swedish Massage, is performed using various techniques of long-continuous gliding, light kneading, rhythmic rocking and light compressions that follow the contours of the body’s muscles. This massage is designed to soothe the nervous system by stimulating the parasympathetic state leading to increased feelings of calm and well-being. The pressure used in this massage is superficial ONLY due to the focus of stimulating only the parasympathetic nervous system for relaxation purposes.

Deep-Tissue Massage
Think LAYERS. Deep tissue massage is designed to navigate the layers of connective tissue and relieve tension associated with muscle tissue dysfunction and adhesions. During your session the therapist will guide you while implementing deep pressure, friction, trigger point therapy, deep breathing, and targeted muscle tension therapy. This is not a relaxation massage and you can anticipate being sore with a potential for superficial bruising, in more tender areas.

VacuTherapy and Massage Cupping Therapy
Cupping is an ancient technique of healing and bodywork therapy. This non-invasive technique can help clients achieve notable results in their body’s connective tissues. Prenatal Massage
We offer prenatal massage for mothers who are in their second and third trimesters only (>12 weeks). Please Note: Mothers will be placed in a side-lying position and supported with pillows. We do not support the use of prenatal massage pillow systems and do not have them.
Mom should be seen by their OBGYN prior to booking any massage and discuss the risks and benefits of massage specific to their current pregnancy. Some high-risk pregnancies can be considered for massage. If you are high-risk, please email info@restorativeandhealingarts.com prior to booking here.
This service is only available in an 85-minutes time interval to allow adequate time for proper care and treatment. $135

Stone Massage
Stone Massage can use both hot and cold stone therapies. The heat from the stones can penetrate deep into muscle fibers and help release muscle adhesions and dysfunction. Many people find the heat to be relaxing and pain relieving.
Note: These stones are warmed above body temperature. If you are sensitive to heat, this is not the massage for you.
