    Relaxation Massage

    In this massage, also known as a Swedish Massage, the massage therapist will use various gentle techniques of long-continuous gliding, light kneading, skin rolling, rhythmic rocking, and light compressions that follow the contours of the body’s muscles.

    Deep Tissue Massage

    Think LAYERS. Deep tissue massage is designed to navigate the layers of connective tissue and relieve tension associated with muscle tissue dysfunction and adhesions. Your massage therapist will use pressure, friction, trigger point therapy, deep breathing, and targeted muscle tension therapy to help reset your body’s state of ease.

    Hot & Cold Stone Massage

    Stone Massage can use both hot and cold stone therapies. The heat from the stones can penetrate deep into muscle fibers and help release muscle adhesions and dysfunction. Many people find the heat to be relaxing and pain relieving. Cold stones are chilled prior to the massage and used with gentle pressure on areas of increased inflammation, relief of tension headaches, and to reduce puffiness on the face and neck.

    Pregnancy Massage

    I offer side-line positioned, prenatal massage for mothers who are actively under the care of an OB/GYN physician or Midwife and in their second and third trimesters (>12 weeks).

    This service is only available in 60 & 90-minutes time intervals to allow for adequate time for proper attention to care and treatment.

    Pediatric & Infant Massage

    Certified in both pediatric and infant massage, I have a unique ability to offer specialized massage/touch therapy to pediatric clients from birth to their teens. Pediatric massages are designed to reduce pain associated with rapid growth, physical activity, and aid with increase positive body-awareness and self-confidence. Likewise, infant massage can aid in helping to soothe and calm an overstimulated nervous system, increase motility, and increase body-awareness.     Lymphatic Drainage Massage

    This massage is designed to increase flow of the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system collects debris, germs, waste, and extra fluids from the body returns nutrients it back to the blood. The lymphatic system also plays a large role in the body’s immune system killing viruses and bacteria and managing inflammation in the body. The lymphatic system can become diseased, injured, or traumatized and require manual drainage to get it unclogged and moving again. Lymphatic drainage massage is helpful with post-surgical healing, lymphedema, stress relief, and helps reduce swelling.   • Massage & Bodywork Info

    Deep Tissue Massage:

    This type of massage is not intended for relaxation. Sometimes deep tissue massage cause muscle soreness for several days after. Additionally, there is always a potential for superficial bruising where specific work is done especially in the more tender areas.

    Hot Stone Massage:

    Note: These stones are warmed to approximately 110°F - 130°F (43°C - 54°C). If you are sensitive to heat, this is not the massage for you. Client feedback is essential for making sure stone temperature is correct for client comfort. ***Hot stone massage is contraindicated for acute health conditions, some chronic health conditions, and some medications. Please fill out intake form to the best of your ability so that these items can be discussed prior to your arrival.

    Prenatal Massage:

    Mothers will be placed in a side-lying position and supported with pillows. We do not support the use of prenatal massage pillow systems and do not have them.

    Mom should be seen by their OBGYN prior to booking any massage and discuss the risks and benefits of massage specific to their current pregnancy. Some high-risk pregnancies can be considered for massage. If you are high-risk, please email info@restorativeandhealingarts.com prior to booking.

    Vacutherapy & Massage Cupping Therapy:

    Cupping is an ancient technique of healing and bodywork therapy. People often notice less pain and stiffness, faster recovery from sports or overuse injuries, better movement, and less swelling. Cupping can loosen scar tissue and adhesions, support detox by improving lymph flow, and create deep relaxation that reduces stress and muscle guarding. Paired with skilled massage, it improves tissue movement and can help with chronic pain, posture issues, and recovery after injury or surgery. Always see a trained provider who checks for risks and adjusts cup placement and technique for safety and best results. Please be aware that cupping therapies can leave the appearance of bruising on the skin for several days after a session.

  • Pediatric Massage:

    *Children >16 may book for a traditional relaxation massage.

    Lyposauge™ coming in 2027

    18-20 Massage sessions scheduled 3 times a week with at least one day between each session. Each appointment is about 30-45 minutes long. Most people do Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Or Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

    The body is divided into three zones.

    Zone 1 – Hips, thighs, buttocks and lower abdomen:

    • Diminish the appearances of cellulite in areas that tend to be problematic.

    • Improve muscle and skin tone.

    • Affect posture and structure.

    • Feel better in your body.

    • Dimension loss is typical.

    Zone 2 – Upper abdomen, back, decollate and arms:

    • Dimension loss in arms and abdomen is typical.

    • Improve your posture.

    • Natural firming of bust area.

    • Improve circulation and lymphatic flow to your upper body.

    Zone 3 – Face, neck and head:

    • Lift and tone sagging tissue in your face and neck with dramatic results.

    • Diminish the appearance of wrinkles.

    • Improve skin tone and texture

    • This treatment is like receiving a “natural face lift”.

    What do I need do while on the series?

    • You are expected to keep your same eating or improve it.

    • Do the cellulite self-help which is based on diet, exercise, body brush and self massage (see self-care tap for more info about this).

    • Refrain from eating two hours before each session.

    • Drink 8 once glass of water after each session. And drink at least 32 ounces of water per day.

    • Aerobic exercise as opposed to anaerobic exercise is encourage.

  • On Site Massage

    “On Site” massage therapy sessions are available on a limited basis so it’s important to book these early. This is a great option for bridal parties, honeymoons, or family trips. Remeber to inquire about which body treatments can also be added for a spa-like experience to maximize relaxation with no drive home!

    A credit card is required to book and a minimum of two 60-minutes massages must be booked with 50% of total services and full travel booking fee paid in advance of scheduled service date. Please see the cancellation policy for more details.
